The welding machines made by Cisam Impianti can be substantially of two types: TIG or Laser. Specially designed for head and tail strip welding, they make the production more efficient thanks to the continuous operation of the system and reduce the amount of material waste.

TIG WELDING MACHINES

This machines series has been developed with the precise purpose of automating the welding process in the stamping lines, profiling, laminating and rewinding lines allowing to work continuously, or forming large format coils or reels, welding with the TIG process head and tail of the strip in a quick and accurate mode.
The obtained welds have such characteristics to prevent the strip breaking during the following transformation operations, with the considerable advantage of reducing downtime during the coil change, reducing the risk of breakage in the progressive dies and eliminating the waste of each coil.

LASER WELDING MACHINES

Cisam Impianti laser welding machines are designed to meet the latest and highest market demands in the field of coil head-tail welding. The laser provides a concentrated source of heat, which allows for a thin and deep weld. The materials that we are able to manage are the most varied: from high-strength steels for the automotive sector, passing through silicon and stainless steels, rather than galvanized steel, up to aluminum. We are able to guarantee very high-quality welds while maintaining excellent resistance characteristics of the material for subsequent processing.
The characteristics of this process make it ideal for high volume applications. Cisam Impianti laser welders are particularly suitable for being inserted into inspection lines, slitting lines, galvanizing or coil coating lines, pickling lines and continuous annealing lines.
